We do not list our estates publicly as a rule. More than half of the homes Mimax has placed in the last three years moved between buyers we already knew — collectors, investors, families who had told us, quietly and in advance, what they were looking for.

Our work on the buy side is the same. When an investor is looking for a plot worth conceiving, or a buyer is searching for an estate that has not yet been built, we draw on the same intelligence — the same patience with the land — to find it. The advisor side of the practice is not a transactional desk; it is the slow continuation of the developer's conversation.

Once an estate has been placed, the practice continues. We look after the fabric of the house, the garden, and where appropriate the seasonal placement of the home — so the owner is never closer to the maintenance of the building than they wish to be.
